Application Principle
Harmonic Drive is a high-precision deceleration device based on the principle of elastic deformation. It is widely used in high-precision machine tools, such as CNC machine tools (CNC), machining centers and precision grinders. Its core working principle is as follows:
1. Elastic deformation transmission:
The harmonic drive consists of a wave generator, a flexible wheel (Flexspline) and a rigid wheel (Circular Spline). The wave generator causes the flexible wheel to deform elastically and mesh with the rigid wheel to achieve high reduction ratio (usually 50:1 to 160:1) precision transmission.
2. High-precision positioning:
