In the reducer family, planetary reducer is widely used in servo, stepper, DC and other transmission systems due to its small size, high transmission efficiency, wide deceleration range, high precision and many other advantages. Its function is to reduce the speed, increase the torque and reduce the load/motor moment of inertia ratio under the premise of ensuring precision transmission. In the past few years, some users have broken the output shaft of the reducer due to human factors such as illegal installation when using the reducer, causing unnecessary losses to the company. Therefore, in order to better help the majority of users use the reducer, we will introduce to you in detail how to correctly install the planetary reducer.
Correct installation, use and maintenance of reducers are important links to ensure the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, when installing planetary reducers, please be sure to strictly follow the following installation and use related matters, and assemble and use them carefully.
Step 1
Before installation, confirm whether the motor and reducer are intact, and strictly check whether the dimensions of the parts connected to the motor and reducer match. Here are the dimensions and matching tolerances of the motor's positioning boss, input shaft and reducer groove.
Step 2
Unscrew the screws on the dustproof hole on the outer side of the reducer flange, adjust the PCS system clamping ring so that its side hole is aligned with the dustproof hole, insert the hexagon socket and tighten it. After that, remove the motor shaft key.
Step 3
Naturally connect the motor and the reducer. When connecting, it is necessary to ensure that the concentricity of the reducer output shaft and the motor input shaft is consistent, and the outer flanges of the two are parallel. If the concentricity is inconsistent, it will cause the motor shaft to break or the reducer gear to wear.
